SCRIP is a fund raiser with no selling involved.  No need to plan ahead with ScripNow (see below).  But exactly what  you need on your smart phone while you are in the store or restaurant. Or, PLAN your upcoming needs for groceries, gas, retail stores, etc.  BUY Scrip gift cards at face value.  SPEND them like cash... a rebate amount is divided between your child's escrow account and the band program!  The rebates add up quickly. So start ordering SCRIP now.

There are three ordering options:
  1. ScripNow
            -- Purchase e-cards on your phone while in the store or restaurant to use immediately. The quickest way to shop with scrip.
            -- Create your account at www.ShopWithScrip.com and sign up for ScripNow. You will need Homestead's enrollment code which is 
                listed on the scrip documentation in your parent folder. Or email your scrip coordinator.
            -- Sign up for Presto Pay (similar to PayPal) to pay instantly for your e-cards.
            -- Show the cashier the e-card on your smart phone when you are ready to pay for your purchase. It's that simple.
   2.    Order online at www.shopwithscrip.com 
            -- Use the Homestead registration code -- provided in your Parent Folder SCRIP packet.  
            -- Print your online order and pay Homestead Band by check or pay online using PRESTO-PAY.
            -- Orders completed online are returned to you the following Thursday evening.
            -- If you use Presto Pay and order a Scrip Now or Reload Now, you can get an e-card in just minutes.
   3.    Complete a paper order form
             -- Return it to the SCRIP box in the band room 
             --OR Email your order to our SCRIP coordinators
             -- Orders completed by Thursday are filled and returned the following Thursday evening at the end of band practice.  
             -- After marching season, the schedule changes, so be on the lookout for updates.
 

Frquently Asked Questions

  1. How much of a rebate will we receive to our escrow account?  The rebate amount varies for each retailer.  The percentage ranges from 2%-16% of the face value of the card. Remember, rebates are split equally between the student and band. 
  2. When is the rebate amount posted to Charms?  Usually once annually, at the end of the school year, however on a trip year, the rebate amount will be calculated prior to the final trip payment due date.  Additionally, if you register on ShopWithScrip.com, you can see your running total for rebates at ANY time!
  3. What types of stores have cards available? Apparel, Department Store, Dining, Discount, Electronic, Entertainment, Gas & Auto, Grocery, Home Improvement, Online, Service, Speciality Retailers, Sporting Goods, Travel, and Local Vendors are all available.   4. Where do I pick up my order?  Look for the SCRIP volunteers with the SCRIP box in the bleachers during Thursday evening run-throughs.
  5. How do I get Homestead's organization number?  Look in your Parent Folder for the packet of information about SCRIP or contact us at [email protected]
  6. How do I create an account on the Shop with Scrip website?  Click on the "Create Account" button in the Green box for Family Sign Up.  Enter the required information.  Put your student's name in the student name field so you receive credit to their escrow account. If you have ordered in the past only through paper orders, email [email protected] to get your password to register for online orders.
  7. How do I place an online order?  Use the link above to go to the Shop with Scrip website. Use the Member's Login orange box to enter the site.  When selecting local vendors, be sure to use the "HHS Special" option if it appears so that you get a higher rebate amount. After you check out, confirm your order then print a copy of your order.  Submit this copy with your check by the deadline specified online. Put your order and money in the SCRIP box in the band room.  You may also use PRESTO-PAY to pay for your order online.  If you are new to Presto-Pay, it may take a few days to verify your account before you can use this payment option.
