PEP BAND
Beginning in mid November, musical instruction begins to focus on lively and current musical selections for our pep band performances. The HHS Pep Band plays during various home games for both the Boys and Girls Basketball teams. The band’s contribution creates a great atmosphere for the games and is appreciated by the spectators.
All musicians are expected to participate in pep band unless they communicate absences ahead of time to Mr. Warfield and Mr. Witzigreuter. Band members stay for the entire game and may wear any school appropriate attire. Dates are announced to the students in early November.
Parents are encouraged to come to the basketball games to enjoy the pep band, and cheer on the Spartans!

FINE ARTS AWARDS CEREMONY
The Fine Arts Awards Ceremony celebrates the talents of our students and a year of accomplishments. Marching band members receive their chenille letters, graduation numbers, and band chevron for their letter jackets as well as participation certificates and other special awards. An informal reception is held after the event.
GRADUATION
All band members, except for our seniors, are expected to participate in this special performance at the Homestead Commencement Ceremony in June. The band plays prior to the start of the ceremonies and as the graduating seniors enter.
