Music Boosters provides funds to the Choir, Band, Guard, Orchestra and Dance performing art programs at the middle schools and high school through various fundraisers. One of these fundraisers is concessions.
Answers to many of your questions that you might have about working concessions can probably be found in the binder in the stand. This is helpful information to review prior to volunteering.

Answers to many of your questions that you might have about working concessions can probably be found in the binder in the stand. This is helpful information to review prior to volunteering.
There are a few important things to remember while working:
- A designated Cash Key person from choir, orchestra, dance or band will help open up the concession stand with you and prep items with you. The Cash Key person will also bring a specific amount of start cash. The Cash Key person will return at the end of the event to collect the cash and ensure concession stand closing procedures/cleanup was followed.
- If you have any questions during the event, need change, or want to notify Cash Key person event is ending earlier than expected, please call or text Cash Key. They will leave their name & phone#. There is also a contact listing included in the front of the binder.
- You will start the event off with a recommended number of items prepared. Check the back of the binder for the amounts. You MUST always use provided plastic gloves whenever you are preparing and/or serving any unpackaged, ready-to-eat food (Hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, pretzels, etc.
- There are instructions and QR codes on all of the equipment in the stand for you to be able to learn to operate. Below you will also find links to the manuals for your reference.
- Window workers handling money CANNOT be preparing food and must be older than 18 years of age. Do not handle money and food!
- Health Department regulations state that concession workers CANNOT eat or drink anything inside the concession area where food is being prepared. You MUST eat or drink OUTSIDE the concession stan
- No money is to be brought in early or left overnight in concession stand. All money should be brought at the time workers arrive and leave the same time workers leave via the designated Cash Key volunteer. A specific Cash Key volunteer has been appointed for your events and will be responsible for the money. No money is to be left unattended on the counters
